Powerful aromas and poised raspberry savouriness. Blended it gives juiciness to the more austere Cabernet Sauvignon making for some exciting memories.
~ Robert Parker's wine advocates.
"Lush and round, with velvety-textured tannins carrying ample layers of plum sauce, crushed currant and fig fruit, and dark licorice notes. Stays admirably
fresh on the hefty finish, with a nice buried black tea hint. Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon."
~ James Molesworth Wine Spectator Insider 11th March 2009
"5 stars. A marriage of power and finesse. Aromas of wood smoke, dried flowers and wild fruits. On the palate, rounded yet spicy with a silky texture and a long, lingering finish." ~ Steven Spurrier Decanter July 2008
