Bodega Del Fin Del Mundo hails from the remote Patagonian region of Argentina. This flagship Extra Brut Sparkling wine is made in the traditional method using 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay grapes. Cellared on lees for over 12 months, the resulting wine has tiny delicate bubbles, a brilliant amber colours and hints of toast and fresh fruit.
The dry climate, low humidity and minimal rainfall provide natural immunity from diseases. Add to this the pure glacial waters and you get a delicious fruit driven wine with a deliciously long finish. Originally considered a risky venture the wines have proven themselves over and over obtaining over 140 medals in the most important wine competitions in the world. Colour: Brilliant straw colour with coppery highlight. Plentiful fine bubbles. White and persistent foam crown.
Nose: Charming aromas of tropical fruits, toast and delicate white flowers.
Palate: Fresh and persistent in the mouth. Constant and uniform bubbles, creamy with slight hint of sugar. Long after taste of red fruits. Very balanced.
Ageing: Cellared over lees for 12 months under controlled temperature of 14 degrees. Cellared after disgorgement for 3 months before released to market.
